Use the HR Document Library

The HR Document Library is the unified browse and search view across every document, template, and policy in your organisation. It’s distinct from the Documents page (which is task focused, “what do I need to do”) in being browse focused, “what do we have available”.

Open the library

  1. Sidebar then HR Hub.
  2. HR Document Library.

You see categories down the left:

  • Contracts and offer letters
  • Position descriptions
  • Policies
  • Performance documents (templates, not issued)
  • Workplace Health and Safety
  • Training materials
  • Reference guides

The search bar at the top covers titles, descriptions, and the body text of every document. Type “annual leave” and you get every policy, template, and reference doc that mentions it.

Document detail

Click any document to see:

  • The template or final version
  • When it was last updated and by whom
  • How many times it’s been used
  • Where it’s referenced (e.g. linked from a workflow, from a job profile)

Assign or generate from the library

For templates, you can:

  • Generate from this template opens the document generator with the template pre selected.
  • Assign to an employee sends the existing reference doc straight to one or many employees as an acknowledgement task.

Add to the library

Anything new you build (a new template via the AI Template Builder, a new policy in the policy editor) lands in the library automatically. You don’t add docs here directly. Use:
