Create and launch a survey

The Surveys module lets you build and send surveys to your team and collect structured responses. Used well, it’s a fast way to get a read on engagement, wellbeing, or any specific topic.

Open the Surveys admin

  1. Navigate to the Surveys area (admin/manager view).
  2. Click to start a new survey.

Pick a survey type

The platform ships with templated survey types ready to use:

  • Pulse Check. Quick recurring engagement check.
  • Culture and Engagement. Deeper periodic engagement survey.
  • Psychosocial Hazards. Survey designed for psychosocial WHS risk assessment.
  • WHS. General workplace health and safety survey.
  • Respect at Work. Aligned with Respect@Work and positive duty framing.
  • Leadership 360. Multi-rater feedback for managers.
  • Team 360. Multi-rater feedback within a team.
  • Performance Review 360. 360 feedback as part of a performance cycle.
  • Exit Interview. Structured leaving employee survey.
  • Custom. Free-form, you build the questions yourself.

Configure the survey

For each survey, you set:

  • Name and description. What employees see when they open it.
  • Target audience. Everyone, by department, by role, or specific individuals.
  • Anonymity. If enabled, responses are stored without an employee identifier so you can’t tie a response back to a person. The platform enforces this end-to-end.
  • Questions. Pick the question types you want:
    • Short text / long text
    • Multiple choice (single or multi-select)
    • Scale (1-5, 1-10, NPS 0-10)
    • Matrix rating (a grid of statements scored against a scale)

Launch the survey

When you’re happy with the configuration, launch. The platform sends each invited employee an in-app task and (depending on configuration) an email. The survey moves from Draft to Active.

Track responses

The Results dashboard shows live as responses come in:

  • Summary tab. Aggregate stats per question (averages, NPS scores, multi-choice distributions).
  • Responses tab. Individual responses (or anonymous responses if anonymity is on).
  • AI Insights tab. Once enough responses are in (response threshold met), the AI generates themes, positive highlights, areas for improvement, and recommended actions.

Close the survey

When you’re done collecting, close the survey. It moves from Active to Closed. Responses stop being accepted but the data and AI insights stay accessible for historical reference.

A note on recurrence

The platform doesn’t currently support automatic recurrence (e.g. “run this pulse every fortnight”). For recurring surveys, launch a new instance manually each time. Recurrence is on the roadmap.

Permissions

Managers and admins can create and launch surveys. Employees see only the surveys they’re invited to, on their My Surveys page.
