Reset your password
If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it yourself in a couple of minutes. The reset link is delivered by email.
Reset your own password
- Go to app.yourhrtoolkit.com.
- Click Forgot password? under the sign in form.
- Enter your work email and click Send reset link.
- Open the email (check junk if it doesn’t appear within a minute) and click the link inside. The link expires after one hour.
- Choose a new password (at least 8 characters), enter it again to confirm, and click Set password and sign in.
You’ll be signed in straight away with the new password.
”I never received the reset email”
For security, the platform doesn’t tell you whether an email is registered or not, so the success screen looks the same either way. If your email genuinely is on the platform, the message will arrive within a minute or two. If it doesn’t:
- Check your junk folder.
- Check that you used your work email (not personal).
- Ask your HR admin to confirm what email is on your account, and to send you a fresh invite if needed.
”The reset link says it expired”
Reset links are single use and only valid for one hour. If yours has expired, just go back to Forgot password? and request a new one.
If you have 2FA turned on
Resetting your password does not turn off 2FA. After you set a new password, you’ll still need the 6-digit code from your authenticator app when you sign in. If you’ve also lost access to your authenticator, use one of your backup codes (see Set up two-factor authentication) or contact your HR admin.
