Install Your HR Toolkit on your phone or desktop

Your HR Toolkit is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it like a native app from your browser. Once installed it gets its own icon on your home screen or dock, opens in its own window without a browser address bar, and gets push notifications.

On iPhone / iPad (Safari)

Open Safari and go to your platform URL.
Tap the Share button at the bottom.
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Edit the name if you want, then Add.

The icon appears on your home screen. Tap to open like any other app.

On Android (Chrome)

Open Chrome and go to your platform URL.
Tap the 3 dot menu at the top right.
Tap Install app (or Add to Home Screen).
Confirm.

The app installs and shows up in your app drawer.

On Mac (Chrome or Edge)

Open the platform in Chrome or Edge.
Look for the install icon in the address bar (a small computer icon with a down arrow).
Click it. Confirm.

The app gets its own dock icon and opens in a standalone window.

On Windows (Chrome or Edge)

Open the platform in Chrome or Edge.
Click the install icon in the address bar (right hand side).
Confirm.

The app opens like a native Windows app and gets a Start menu entry.

Why bother

Faster. Skips the browser, opens straight to where you left off.
Notifications. Push notifications for things you’ve subscribed to (leave approvals, document signatures, reminders).
Offline mode. Read only views (your timesheet, your leave balance, your tasks) keep working briefly even without internet.
Looks like an app. Cleaner than a browser tab, and fits with your other work apps.

Updates

The PWA updates automatically next time you connect to the internet. You don’t need to reinstall when the platform releases a new version.

Uninstall

iPhone / iPad: long press the icon then Remove app.
Android: long press, drag to remove or tap Uninstall.
Mac: drag from Dock to Trash, or in Chrome go to chrome://apps and remove.
Windows: Start menu, right click the app, Uninstall.
