Use the comms feed

The comms feed is the employee facing wall where org wide updates, team shoutouts, and the daily digest live. It’s a separate page from the admin email tool.

Open the feed

  1. Sidebar then Comms feed (under My Workspace for everyone).

You see a stream of items in reverse chronological order:

  • Daily digest. A “good morning” summary at the top showing things the employee personally needs to action today (leave to approve, surveys due, documents to sign).
  • Shoutouts. Recognition posts. Employees can like and comment.
  • Announcements. Org wide updates from admins or HR.
  • Notices. Compliance reminders, policy updates, training prompts.

Post a shoutout

Anyone can recognise a teammate.

  1. New shoutout on the feed.
  2. Tag the person.
  3. Pick a cultural value if your org has them configured.
  4. Write the message.
  5. Post.

The shoutout appears in the feed for everyone in the team or org (based on your org’s privacy setting), and the recipient gets a notification.

Comment and react

Click any item to see comments. Add your own. React with the inline reactions.

Filter the feed

The feed has tabs:

  • Live feed. Everything chronologically.
  • Shoutouts only. Just recognition.
  • Announcements. Just admin posts.
  • For you. Items mentioning you or relevant to your team.

Posting an announcement (admins only)

Admins can post org wide.

  1. Sidebar then Comms (admin tool).
  2. New announcement.
  3. Compose the message in the editor (visual or code mode, see Switch between visual and code editor).
  4. Pick the audience (whole org, specific department, custom group).
  5. Schedule or send now.

Announcements appear in the feed and (if email is also enabled in the post) go out as an email too.
