Set and track goals

The Goals page is where every individual and team goal lives. You can set personal goals, link them to team goals, link team goals to company OKRs, and track progress over time.

Open the goals page

  1. Sidebar then Goals (under Management Hub if you’re a manager, under your dashboard if you’re an employee).

You see a list of your goals. Toggle between Mine, My team (managers and admins only), and Org views.

Create a goal

  1. New goal.
  2. Fill in:
    • Title (one short sentence, action oriented)
    • Description (the why)
    • Type (objective, key result, KPI, project)
    • Target (number with unit, e.g. “12 calls per week” or “$500k ARR”)
    • Due date or review cycle (Q2 2026, end of year)
    • Status (not started, in progress, blocked, achieved)
    • Aligns to (link to a parent goal, optional)
  3. Save.

Update progress

Each goal has a progress slider and a notes field. Update both as you go. Common cadence:

  • Weekly note in your 1:1
  • Monthly status check
  • Quarterly review against OKRs

The platform records every update so you have a clear timeline of how the goal evolved.

Managers and admins can:

  • Link individual goals to a team goal so the team’s progress rolls up.
  • Link team goals to org level OKRs.
  • See a tree view of how everything connects.

Goals in performance reviews

When you run a performance review, the goals from the cycle pre populate the Goals achieved section. Reviewers can comment on each one individually instead of typing them out from scratch.

Closing out a goal

When a goal is complete or no longer relevant, set the status:

  • Achieved. Done. Counts toward the team and org rollup.
  • Missed. Not achieved. Add a note on what stopped it.
  • Cancelled. No longer applicable. Doesn’t count for or against.

Closed goals stay on the page in the Closed filter. Useful for review prep.
