Manage your tasks
My Tasks is your personal task inbox: every workflow task assigned to you, every approval waiting on you, every document needing your signature. It’s the “what does the platform need from me today” view.
Open My Tasks
- Sidebar then My Tasks (under My Workspace).
You see your full task list. Each row shows:
- Task title
- Source (workflow, document, leave, performance, etc.)
- Description
- Due date if it has one
- Action button
Action a task
For each task there’s a clear next action:
- Workflow task. “Mark complete” or “Open” depending on the task type.
- Approval. “Review” opens the approval page.
- Document. “Open” opens the document for signing or acknowledging.
- Survey. “Take” opens the survey response page.
Click and complete the action. The task automatically marks done and moves to the Completed filter.
Filters
Across the top:
- Open. Tasks waiting on you. The default.
- Overdue. Tasks past their due date, sorted oldest first.
- Today. Due today.
- This week. Due in the next 7 days.
- Completed. What you’ve finished. Useful for review.
Sort
Use the sort drop down at the top right:
- Due date (default)
- Source
- Recently added
When tasks come in
Tasks appear automatically when:
- A workflow step is assigned to you
- A document is sent for your signature
- You’re nominated as an approver on something
- Someone @ mentions you in a comms post asking you to act
You don’t need to do anything to get tasks to show up. They appear based on what’s happening across the platform.
Completing on someone else’s behalf
Admins can mark a task complete on someone else’s behalf from the active workflows page. The action is logged. Useful when someone is on leave and a workflow is stuck.
Snooze
Tasks that aren’t urgent today can be snoozed. Snooze on a task hides it until the date you pick. They reappear in your list at that time.
